On a front wheel drive car I would suspect bad CV joints. On a rear wheel drive car I would suspect a bad universal joint. Have a mechanic look at it right away.
It's either something loose or something worn out. I'd start with the shocks then look at the ball joints.
The best place to look for convertible cars for hire would be online at the Thrifty website. For convertible cars, they offer a relatively cheap and affordable price.
check your stabilizer links as well as your sway bar bushings. the sway bar bushings might look ok but what happens is the hole gets egg shapped causes clunkinking noise s going over bumps. just had the same problem in my shop. 2002 dodge caravan.
Hi i am not 100% sure but i think it probably has something to do with you CV axle. It could be the CV boots are worn and or torn and the axle is on it's way out or already is. If you are loosing horse power there's a good chance it's an axle. i had that happen to me on a different car but a lot of the time that's what a clunking noise can be otherwise i would suggest maybe and its a big maybe but the wheel bearings. if you have the money i would say to just have a shop look at it and tell you whats wrong with it. Otherwise you could be playing hit and miss and waste a lot of money on parts and labor if you don't do the work yourself. Hope this helps.

I assume you have already checked the trunk to make sure nothing is loose and flopping around in there. Next look under the car at the rear axle to see if there is any obvious sign of something broken or loose. Also check that the lug nuts are properly tightened on both rear wheels.
probably not this sounds like something a mechanic would need to look at but i would be present and look into the pan when they remove it to see if there are signs of metal this indicates some internal parts are breaking. but if it is only clunking when you first put it into gear check the u-joints if it is a rear wheel drive car if it is a front wheel drive look at the motor while some one puts it into gear you may have some worn out motor mounts which are cheaper to replace than a motor.
It is possible to customize your own Beetle convertible, preview it, and see how much this would cost. This can be on designer's website, Volkswagon. More specifically, this is the link directly to begin customizing your car.
The loud clunking noise from your left front tire could be due to several issues, particularly if you've recently installed new rims. It's possible that the new rims are not properly fitted or balanced, or there may be a problem with the wheel bearings, suspension components, or brakes. I recommend inspecting the installation of the rims and checking for any visible damage or looseness. If the sound persists, it's best to have a mechanic take a look to diagnose and resolve the issue safely.
A convertible is a car. For example; "Look isn't that Aunt Jane's car?" Jessie asked, pointing to a blue convertible. Btw I copied this from a book. xD
Try searching for it in Google Images.
