To recalibrate the temperature gauge on a Vauxhall Corsa, start by ensuring the vehicle is at normal operating temperature. Disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes to reset the electronic systems. Reconnect the battery, then turn the ignition to the "on" position without starting the engine, allowing the gauge to reset. Finally, check the gauge's accuracy by monitoring it during normal driving conditions. If issues persist, consult a professional mechanic for further diagnosis.
Warning label on a box that his been shipped is normal. There probably is a warning label on the batteries.

Thus, the ABS light should be off during normal driving, and on only during start-up and the first few mph of acceleration.
