The airbag sensor comes on when there is no power to activate the airbag when needed. power to the airbag in the steering wheel
is transmitted by a coil spring called the clockspring. when it breaks the sensor light stays on and the horn does not work. On some cars the cruse control fails to work. There is a recall on Dodge caravans. Plymouth voyagers and other Chrysler products to replace the clockspring free of charge by any dealer or to reimberse the owner for parts and labor.
