The brake light on your Fiat Punto flashes when you activate the turn signal due to a shared electrical circuit or a fault in the wiring. This can occur if the indicator and brake light circuits are incorrectly connected or if there's a malfunction in the turn signal switch. It's a sign that there may be a need for inspection or repair to ensure proper functionality of the lighting system. If the issue persists, consulting a mechanic is advisable.
It will either be the brake wear indicator or the abs sensor Check if it goes to the brake pads it's the wear indicator If it goes to the hub it's the abs sensor
Your punto has bad earthing to the light clusters, clean up all your earth connections and if this does not solve it re earth the light clusters using a piece of cable from the body of the car to the black cable on your light cluster plug.
This warning light means that you need to add brake fluid to your car. Improper fluid levels can cause brake malfunction resulting in an accident.
To change the high brake bulb on a Fiat Punto, first, open the rear hatch and locate the brake light assembly. Remove the screws or clips securing the assembly and carefully pull it out. Disconnect the wiring harness and twist the old bulb counterclockwise to remove it. Replace it with a new bulb, reconnect the wiring, and reassemble the brake light assembly.
hi i think this is because the han brake is on
It means the hand-brake in engaged. Make sure the hand-brake is fully down, and the warning light should dissappear. If not, it could be a hand-brake re-adjustment is in order, or there is a fault with the warning light itself. Check the brake light switch. It is mounted high up on the brake pedal (has a plunger on the end). The plunger on the switch has either broken off or the switch has come loose from where it is mounted to the pedal.

Yes, a Fiat Punto has disc brakes at the front and these have pads. The drum brakes at the back have shoes.
