If both lighter sockets in a 2005 BMW X5 are not working, it could be due to a blown fuse, as multiple sockets often share the same circuit. Another possibility is a poor connection or damage to the wiring. Additionally, if the lighter sockets are dirty or corroded, they may not make proper contact. Lastly, check if the devices you're trying to use are functioning properly as well.
If you can charge a cellphone in the lighter socket, then the lighter is no good. If a cellphone won't charge, then the lighter cylinder is no good. Both are available at any autoparts store.
A fuse is blown. Stereo and lighter are commonly controlled by same fuse
fuse # 24 is a 15 amp fuse for your cigar lighter , OBD II , neutral tow
on the 01 spectras the fuse is located in the drivers side kick panel by the floor
Check the fuse and if the fuse is good the lighter needs replacing. You can purchase one at any auto parts store.
If you just mean the actual lighter part itself( the part that pops out when hot),almost any vehicle lighter would work.
You can buy a generic lighter that will fit and work at most auto parts stores. If you want an OEM Mercedes lighter you may find one at a salvage year or you can get one at a Mercedes dealer. Also try eBay.
Both brown and blonde (not bleached but gentle blonde) would work well with ginger but usually if your hair has a brownish tint then the brown highlights would work better but with a lighter ginger, blonde highlights would blend beautifully. Good luck. Hope this helped.
Check the fuse.
They don't hook them up. If you bought it at a dealer, make him hook it up for you.
both
Use can use any naptha lighter fluid in a Zippo. This may not be what you would identify as "normal," however; the more modern Bic lighter and many others use butane. Butane absolutely won't work in a Zippo. I'm not sure what would happen, but it could be anywhere from not working at all to a fiery explosion.
