If it won't crank, which is probably what you really have going on, it means your battery went bad while you were driving.
It's power that comes from a stream of water spinning a turbine driving a generator producing electricity.
the generator warning light - it indicates malfunction in charging system. The light should go off once the engines started, if it comes on while driving, the generator drive belt and the charging system needs checked.
you go online type in beetle poison and see what it comes up with
It is for the Generator (or Alternator). If it comes on while you're driving, it usually means the fan belt broke. If you do not pull over to the side of the road right now and put the new belt you carry - you should ALWAYS carry a spare fan belt!!! - on the car, your engine will melt because the cooling fan is bolted to the end of the alternator shaft.
If it comes on after driving awhile and oil level is okay and it goes out if you turn off car and then restart then it is a fairly common problem with early Acura electrical connections. The solder is prone to failure on the circuit boards and or relays causing false readings or no connection. Usually these occur during hot weather. Resoldering is the cure if this is the case. Safe to continue driving if light goes out after restart though. Don"t drive if light stays on after restart until oil pressure is verified/
I was driving and all of the sudden I had to push the clutch to the floor with no resisitance and it was difficult to engage the gears. What happened?
It's the Generator (or alternator, depending on what your car has) light. If it comes on, the car isn't charging. The most common reason a VW stops charging is that the alternator belt broke. This belt drives the cooling fan so you need to get to the side of the road and check the engine if this light comes on.
In the US, it comes from the Constitution, which means that it comes from the people goverened.
well in my 72 super, the brake light comes on and stays on everytime i start it and i havent had any problems. I'm not sure what exactly the problem is or if there is one at all. does the car run with it on? if it does then i wouldn't worry about it.

A red and black beetle in the garden is commonly called a ladybug. There is also a Japanese beetle that comes around in the fall months to eat soybean crops. The ladybug is harmless, but the Japanese beetle can bite and leave welts on the skin.
