The man that put in our laminate, showed us how tough it was by putting a lit cigerette on a scrap piece....and let it burn down to the filter....then picked it up wiped it with a wet rag....and there was NO stain or burn. ours was Wilson art..... not sure if all brands will do that try it.......seems like the only thing that is really harmful is standing water...or harsh cleaning chemicals. but as far as dancing..... dance away......dance till you drop...it will not harm the floors...there pretty darned tough. not like wood floors at all.
