The heart and lungs will not be able to grow proportionally as much as the muscles can grow for someone who's a dedicated strength athlete. Therefore a lighter man will almost always have more endurance than a heavier man. He's weaker but with less bulk to lug around those muscles that he have will see less strain and be easier to supply with fresh, oxygenated blood.
