Avoid them. They seem like they might be a good idea, but they are not. They are useless for strength training because they are too light. They are counter-productive for fitness training because they are too heavy and throw off your natural motion. The same applies to wrist weights. Unless a physician to correct some anomaly prescribes using them, do not bother with them.
