The best way to keep that nice booty is to do very light cardio for example, Jogging, or bikeing and your best bet would be to do a lot of squats they give you the best butt.
Workout and nutrition are the basis of all physique goals. Deep squats, wide legged squats, lunges and stiff legged deadlifts are some exercises which hit your butt perfectly. Train your butt after your leg workout with proper resistance and increase your protein consumption and healthy fat consumption by a little and in few months you will be reaching your goal.
You can do little to develop a nice one, but you can take steps (diet and exercise) to prevent it becoming too big.

Squats will do surprisingly little for your bum. The best way to get a nice rear is to diet, in which case you should be asking a different question. Of course, once you've gotten rid of that stubborn bum fat, you can rely on squats only to do a slight amount of toning. After all, you see sprinters looking good, but cross country runners can be as well formed as your granny. Hold some bottles of water or bags of sugar (just don't eat the latter), and that should make all the difference. Another person: I have been doing all types of butt exercises and can tell you this much. It WILL help increase it's size and roundness if you try different types of exercises. Squats, Lunges, rear leg lifts etc... And eat a lot of protein and try space 72 hours in between the butt workouts. They have done wonders for me, they should for you too. Also, some weight resistance would help a lot.
As a girl i should say DON'T LOOK AT HER BUTT! but that's the only way you'll know. :)

Work out baby girl, lunges ! As much as you can I take barbells 20 pounds and work out with those before I got to sleep and squats too! Same with the weights and walk a lot jog bike ride do butt bridges anything like that google butt excersizes good luck ! By the way I use to be a flat back on my butt but now I'm starting to get results:D good luck.
