Depends where the biopsy was taken from. As long at it was from an area where it's easy to avoid knocking or injuring it in any way, you should be able to do low impact yoga within a few days (but not the type of yoga performed in very hot rooms). If there is any risk that you may accidentally knock, pull or injure the biopsy sight when it's healing, you should avoid exercise. And avoid any yoga position that involve leaning or balancing on the biopsy site. Do whatever you like when the site is fully healed (around a couple of weeks).

Cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCL) are typically diagnosed through a combination of physical examination, skin biopsies, and other tests like blood work or imaging studies. Additional tests may be done to determine the extent of the disease and to guide treatment decisions.

When coding 3 biopsies of the skin performed at the same visit the reporting would be?

When coding for three skin biopsies performed at the same visit, you would typically use the appropriate CPT codes for each biopsy based on the type of biopsy performed and the size of the lesions. If the biopsies are of different lesions, you would report each biopsy individually. However, if the biopsies are performed on the same lesion, you would use the appropriate CPT code for the biopsy and append a modifier (like -59) to indicate that separate sites were involved. Always refer to the most current coding guidelines and payer-specific rules for accurate reporting.
