Richard Jaeckel was not primarily known as a powerlifter; he was an American actor best remembered for his roles in films and television, particularly in the mid-20th century. While he may have engaged in physical training for his roles, there is no substantial evidence to suggest that he was an avid powerlifter. His legacy lies more in his contributions to the film industry rather than in strength sports.
yes he is
For a powerlifter, a common repetition scheme is low to moderate reps with heavy weights, such as 3-6 reps per set. This helps focus on building strength and power while minimizing muscle fatigue. Training in this range also allows for higher intensity and maximal effort during each set.
This is a difficult question to answer. Big George was a boxer, not a bodybuilder or a powerlifter, so its difficult to guess. He was obviously one of the most powerful and toughest fighters ever, so he definitely had some awesome strength. Just as an educated guess, i would bet at least 350 pounds, and I can reasonably believe a number maybe as high as 450...Who knows, maybe more. But he was a puncher, not a powerlifter.
