Yes, it is generally safe to take whey protein and amino acids together as they can complement each other in supporting muscle growth and recovery. However, it is important to follow recommended dosages and consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen.
If you eat a variety of proteins, you will get all the amino acids you need. It was thought at one time that "complete" proteins (meaning including all essential amino acids) must be eaten at each meal; now we know that as long as you eat complementary proteins/amino acids within a few days of each other, it will be okay.
Yes, amino acids are safe to take. Though, any supplement should be cleared through your regular doctor first to make sure it is okay for your personal body.
Hey! I'm a seventh grader too, and this was my science project!! Okay. So basically (and I'm pretty advanced) this is a dumbed down version. Some parts I left out b/c they're not all that important...I wrote this summary myself and won a prize. First, in the nucleus, the double-coiled DNA needs to be genetically converted to RNA. 3 Nucleotides will become "instructions" for one amino acid. The RNA is like a "copy" of the DNA. Special kinds of proteins tell which parts of the DNA are copied in the mRNA. The mRNA goes to the ribosomes and this is where the actual process of Protein Synthesis begins. The nucleotides in the mRNA match up to the tRNA. The "twin" tRNA has the actual amino acids, which are activated by enzymes. The tRNA are activated and are eventually added to the protein chain. After a while of adding, a code says "STOP!", when the final three nucleotide code cannot find an adapter. Finally, the Protein Synthesis is over. Okay hope I helped:) BvR
Oh, dude, like totally! Iodine can change the color of a protein because it reacts with the amino acids in the protein, forming a complex that absorbs light and gives it a brownish color. It's like a science experiment gone wild, man. Just don't go around dyeing your protein samples for fun, okay?
Yes, it is okay to put ice in your protein shake. Adding ice can help make your shake colder and more refreshing, but it may slightly dilute the flavor.
Marshall Nirenberg and Heinrich Matthaei discovered and understood the genetic code through a series of experiments. These include the famous Poly-U-Experiment, which Heinrich Matthaei undertook alone on May 27th, 1961.
Protein shakes are okay for kids depending on the age, but they shouldn't drink them often and not a lot of it either.

Eating proteins and carbohydrates in combinations is definitley okay. I do it a lot because i care about a healthy lifestyle.
Okay, so here's how it works. DNA is read by an RNA polymerase, which "builds" the RNA to be complementary to a portion of the DNA strand. The RNA that is formed here is mRNA. tRNA is a separate thing of its own. Each tRNA molecule has a certain amino acid attached to it. As a ribosome "reads" the mRNA, tRNA molecules' anticodons bond temporarily to the codons of the mRNA, and the ribosome puts together the amino acids (from the tRNA molecules), forming a protein. So, indirectly, yes.
