Too much of anything is bad for you. Doing excessive yoga will more than likely cause body aches after a while. One-Twice per day should be just enough!

Is there different equipment needed for power yoga than yoga?

There is too much marketing about yoga, too much ignorance caused by different people who are making yoga commercials. Therefore you have yoga and power yoga and a hundred different types of yogas, like hot yoga or cold yoga or kundalini yoga or shakti yoga. People have used different terminologies to capture man's imagination but in reality, the word yoga Itself means Yuj, Yuj means union. What is this union all about? Yoga, as per the original teachings of the original sages and the saints of the ancient world, is about disconnecting from the material world and connecting to the Divine Spirit. It is about connecting from within, our Soul to the Supreme Soul that is everywhere. That is yoga, we live in Divine union, whether we do meditation or action, devotion or education, we remain constantly united in yoga or in union with God.
