When an arm goes limp, it typically indicates a loss of muscle tone or strength, often due to nerve compression, injury, or a medical condition such as stroke or peripheral neuropathy. This can result in difficulty moving the arm, reduced sensation, or even pain. If the limpness persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, it's essential to seek medical attention to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment.
A number of thing can cause a numb arm. The most common one is the nerve has been compressed in some way. Usually by sleeping on it for a very long time. Another cause can be damage that may occur in an accident (a cut). The last reason can be due to a stroke.

It goes into limp mode when the computer detects a problem and sets a code. Have it checked for codes.
Limp home mode is just as it sounds. It goes to a preset load of values to allow the car to get you "limp" home or to the repair service. All engine and transmission performace is reduced. There is no such thing as a "turbo limp module".
Limp mode is what the car goes into if a major sensor( like a cam sensor) fails, the engine will run at reduced rpms and with power reduced.
