Before The Storm - Nick Jonas & Miley Cyrus :)
"The End" is a Doors song noted for its thunder and rain sound effects, adding to its dark and atmospheric vibe.
In Post Production, there is a bag used to create a raining sound, and it is the sound effect at the far right, bottom of the effects. The order of effects for the Balloon Scene are : rain (far right), thunder (metal sheet), popping sound (balloon) and splash (cup).
Rain is water, did you know that Rain isn't a neutral PH level of 7, it is actually a little acidic with a PH of 6?! Thunder is a sound wave made from lightning. You see the lightning 1st before you hear the thunder 2nd simply because that light is faster than sound.
Many of Shakespeare's plays include sound effects, most famously in King Lear includes the storm with wind, rain, and thunder. Clocks frequently toll, as do bells. Cannon fires from offstage, and there are various nature noises such as bird calls and dogs barking.
Rain and thunder typically occur together during a thunderstorm. Rain is the precipitation that falls from the sky, while thunder is the sound produced by lightning as it superheats the air around it. These two phenomena often happen simultaneously during a storm.
-- flashes of light -- booms of sound -- some ozone -- rain -- wind
Lightening is an electrical spark and thunder is the sound made by lightening. We see lightening before we hear the noise because light travels faster than sound.
Thunder as a noun is a sound produced by lightning, so it normally has no plural form. Occurrences at two separate times or places would remain "thunder."
When a lightning bolt travels from the cloud to the ground it actually opens up a little hole in the air, called a channel. Once then light is gone the air collapses back in and creates a sound wave that we hear as thunder. The reason we see lightning before we hear thunder is because light travels faster than sound.
Rain Without Thunder was created in 1992.
No. Rain is water falling from the sky. Thunder is a loud booming noise produced by lightning. Thunder is usually accompanied by rain.
My theory of thunder is that it functions as a way to help it rain. The water molecules are suspended in the cloud and form rain when it gets too heavy, but the thunder helps to make the molecules combine by the sound of the boom from the thunder. The intense soundwave vibrates the molecules till they combine, getting heavier till it forms rain drops. Not saying that it HAS to have thunder too form rain. It just helps. Have you ever noticed how when it is raining that the rain will seem to die down some but then there is that thunder that is from a nearby lightning bolt and a big boom then some seconds later the rain may increase some? This is my theory but I believe it to be true.
