The pectoralis major contributes to both flexion and adduction, while the deltoid assists in flexion and medial rotation. Additionally, the latissimus dorsi plays a significant role in adduction and medial rotation of the humerus. Together, these muscles coordinate to facilitate these movements at the shoulder joint.
