get some base training (two-three weeks where you run - 3 miles at the most, 3-4 days the first week, 4-5 the second, 5-6 the third, depending on your fitness level. )
then do interval workouts. take a warmup lap and then do 50-100m timed splits to help you. if you are shooting for a 11 second PR, try to get around 11 seconds each time you run on the straight, and then do a SLOW run/walk around the corners. do that maybe twice a week.
remember to do A LOT OF SPRINTS in your training as you would in a race, as the more you run, the better you become.
