Take the iron apart and fit new flex the same way old one was fitted. About 1-2 hours work.
If it is any kind of fitted hat and there is a sticker on it, I wouldn't recommend pulling it off. If it is not a fitted hat, I'd recommend taking the sticker off if there is one.

Oh, dude, stretching a flex fit hat is like trying to fit into skinny jeans after Thanksgiving dinner. You can gently stretch it by wearing it over a round object like a ball or a jar overnight. Just be careful not to go too crazy and end up with a stretched-out hat that looks like it's been through a washing machine on the wrong setting.
I think the synergy is but i havent had a chance to use the stiff flex.

Hello, there i have a slamm rage and my brother has a slamm outbrake and we got 81 flex brakes fitted them on and they were and still are fine i have had it for 2 years no prob so the answer to your question is YES, YES, YES IT CAN
