It is better to run in the morning to get you woken up and letting you feel refreshed however, in my opinion for a weight lose program I choose to do my walking/running at night 1.5-3 hrs. before bed at times food can make me feel guilty after dinner so I wait 2.5 hrs. before exercising at any level.
