Santa has thousands of elves. It would be nearly impossible to list all of Santa's elves' names. Though, we do know that two elves' names are Jingle and Jangle, but there are many more out there.
santas job is to order the elves around and get ready for Christmas eve by flying on a sleigh with his 8 reindeer and 1 or 2 elves and go to kids house...good or bad....the good kids get toys and the bad ones get coal....that would be his Jo if he were real

That depends if you believe in Santa Claus or not. If you do, then there are most likely more elves than could possibly be counted within a day. If you don't, I'd imagine you have come to the conclusion that there are no elves at the North Pole because they would all drown in the Arctic Ocean. ~0_0

I've never heard about elves dying but the stories do talk about older and younger elves so that would mean that they are born and die like the rest of us.
