That they made errors when they transcribed, or that they included information that was not part of the manuscript? I think you are looking in the wrong place for someone to blame. You should also have had the opportunity to proof anything before printing and to correct wrong information. But if they published what you gave them, they are not responsible for the content. AND, I assume this was a "vanity press", meaning you had to pay them to print X number of copies. They just did the printing, you are the one responsible for what was printed.
