It is usually caused by having a baby, which takes a lot out of anyone and is a hormonal issue. It is something that is caused by being overwhelmed and just tired during and after the pregnancy.
Now women that are more likely to have or get PPD are those that may have
stressful lives, money problems, problems in their relationships or marriages, non support from the family and friends, negative or anxiety feelings about having the baby,
substance abuse, and/or young pregnancy and age.
