Clients rights in the childcare industy (Australia) could some of the following:

(Different countries may have different regulations)

Privacy - Children's enrollment forms (personal information such as names, adresses, phone numbers, next of kin etc) must be kept in a safe area, which only relevant staff can access.

Portfolios - Children's portfolios (Observations/checklists etc.) must also be kept in a safe place which can be accessed by staff only.

Carers must respect each families unique cultural beliefs and should encourage encourage other children and families to do the same.

All clients (and staff for that matter) have the right to be treated in a fair and respectful manner.

Clients have the right to express any opinions or complaints either verbally or through writing (usually centres have a feedback box or day book) and there's even the option of holding a meeting with the centre director/authorized supervisior.

All clients must be informed if any accidents/incidents occur to their children. (It's not only unprofessional if you don't tell them, but also if the parents find out that Jimmy bit Sam and Sam has a big bruise, and you have failed to document this, it can come back on you as a carer)

When filling out an accident/incident report, you do not write the name of the child that bit, hit or injured the other child. Doing so is a breech of the regulations.

If you notice any bruises on children, scratches or any other signs of physical injury on a child, it is your responsibility to document this information and then, later if necesscary (After speaking to your supervisor), contact Department Of Community Services (DOCS) or your local child protection agency. All Children have the right the feel safe and secure at all times.

There are many more rights that relate to childcare, and if in Australia you can visit the NCAC website, which can provide more information about these rights, along with support, advice and resources for childcare workers.
