Yes, as every human men desire body contact very much. As babies die without bodily contact with their mothers and/or others, grown-ups need body contact to function properly in the long run. We even seem to have special neurons in our skin that only react to stroking, is recently discovered.

What I've noticed from my own experience (Male, 45) is that it is easy to become disconnected from the longing for (non-sexual) body contact through sexual frustrations. When they are lifted and you feel secure sexually, slowly the underlying desire for simple body contact emerges and you become able to love not only in a sexual way, but to enjoy the simple intimacy of just holding hands or touching without further (direct) purpose.

Hope this personal answer is of any use to you.
