Parents are going to be the people kids grow up around and spend the most time with. The area they grow up around and the people they interact with are all they know. That's why in school, they teach children not to bully, do drugs, break the law or hurt other people. They attempt to give the child a better environment to live around, so they would know those things are wrong and will become a good person. But still, some people do it anyways, and that's because their parents probably did those things. When a child gets hurt, who do they run to for help? Their parents. When a child needs some advice, who do they go to? Their parents. If a child feels alone, who do they go to? Their parents. Children look up to their parents and trust them to be there for them. Parents shape their kids into a person who acts like themselves. If parents bully, do drugs, break the law or hurt other people, their kids will be convinced it's okay and will follow their parent's footsteps. A good kid and a bad kid can grow up in the same good school, but the bad kid is bad because of family problems. It's so so so important for parents to be good role models because who they are is who their kids will turn out to be.
