It is not always easy to tell if somebody is using you, but a few of the ways I've known in the past are: 1, If you sleep with him and then dont hear from him for a while 2, He prefers to go out with his mates then spend a little time with you 3, He doesnt introduce you to any of his friends or family. The best thing I can say to you if you believe somebody is using you is to ask them straight out if they are and if that doesnt work then walk away. Its better to be with someone who you know really cares for you then somebody you spend your whole time worrying about. If he only comes around for sex. Doesn't phone you at least once a week. Doesn't take you out in public. Doesn't introduce you to friends and family. Sure each individual needs their space before and after marriage, but it is also to where you can tell how much that person adores you if you are taken to places where he hangs out with friends and also be able to get acquainted with his family. And does he take you out for special evenings or to a movie??
You need to learn the word 'no.' Don't be so afraid of possibly losing a friend by saying no when they are taking advantage of you. People will respect you much more if you tell the truth as to whether you want to do something for someone or not. Don't sit back and let this person take advantage of you any longer and calmly tell them you feel they are taking advantage of you and you aren't putting up with it any longer.
it means taking advantage
i don't know my friend!
Taking advantage of somebody's kindness is trampling on them, using them, and/or making them feel bad because you know that they can handle it and won't complain/tell on you. (Example: If "Sue" punches "Sally" and tells lies about her because "Sue" knows that "Sally" is too nice to do anything, then "Sue" is taking advantage of "Sally's" kindness.)
means you get a great deal from your job and if you know it will help you in some way you take it.
Always be there for him, listen to him, care for him, but don't let him start taking advantage of your loving care ! Always be there for him, listen to him, care for him, but don't let him start taking advantage of your loving care ! how do i do that im sprung.. ughh HELP ME PLEASE!!!
Example of being taken for granted after a breakup: If your ex keeps in touch with you and wants to either keep seeing you, but does not commit to a relationship or complaining about their life they are void of your feelings (heart broken perhaps) and that is taking advantage of you. Most individuals have had some experiences where they have been taken advantage of in other areas of their life. Example: A good friend who someone else you know who either gets you to pay their way to places you go; borrows your clothes and does not return them to dropping you like a hot rock when someone else they feel is more exciting comes along is taking advantage of you. In cases of being taken advantage of and no matter if it is an ex or a friend learn to form the word 'no' or be honest and tell them to their face you do not like being taken advantage of. If you do not then you enable the behavior of anyone that takes advantage of you.

If you find that you are giving more of yourself and to the relationship then he is or offers, if he only comes around when he wants something, and treats you nice until you give him whatever it is that he wants from you at that time he is taking advantage of you and using you.
It is always great to have a close friend that you can depend on and trust.
