How do I tell my friend that she's a furry?

Just come straight out with it. It may be hard at first, but in the end, you won't regret it. (you will if the 'friends' you're talking about don't accept you)

Your friend might already know the he/she is a furry.

One way to go about it is to ask him/her if they are a furry. If they say no you reply with something along the line of 'Ok well I though you might be'. If they answer yes just say 'cool'.

If your friend doesn't know about the furry fandom just tell about it and tell them that they are part of the fandom

I mean, you cannot really speak for them. I would go with the previous answer, for speaking for someone else on a subject like the furry fandom, (No, I am not saying it is a bad thing, it is just the public eye to the fandom is terrible) would be rude. Plus, just because you are into the same thing as furries that does not make you one.

Just be chill, as a furry myself I know you should just casually ask and if they know and say yes just politely except that. If they don’t know what a furry is just explain that it is a person who likes anthropomorphism.
