when asking a girl out you don't want to come on too stong or cocky because to most girls that's a turn off. Just be confident, cool, and collected. Remember that more than likely the girl is a little nervous too. Also make sure you don't approach her when she's with a group of friends because when somebody has an audience you can't really see the real them.
