How do you know if you're being to fresh?

when the girl is like 'ooh please' when you are trying to tell her a compliment or throw a pick-up line you think would work, this is probably because someone else has already used it on her or she browsed and saw it, or she was told by one of her girlfriends during girl talk that so and so used that on... she knows you are not being authentic and thinks you are old fashioned and being too fresh. to prove this try the "is your father a thief because he stole the stars and put them in your eyes" even a 13yr old has heard of this...
