The question really is how many reported and not reported children will get abused? Will the proper authorities take action based on factual evidence or just he said she said? and will the man always be labeled the abuser or will society finally realize women are capable of abuse themselves. Look into the department of justice figures on reported abuse statistics. There is no difference in the characteristic's of an abuser between a women or a man.

There are many factors to consider when assessing abuse claims. One being that i know of is the public perception verses reality of a certain situation. Some people claim falsely while others actually happen and don't get acted on. The real ones who suffer are the children themselves because of flaws in the justice system. My own daughter being a victim at 3 years old, yet not fully or properly investigated given evidence presented. Dcfs workers are over worked, underpaid, and must meet certain quotas to continue to receive federal funding. This means more men are accused of abuse............ do da research. :)

Quite alot and in numerous ways. After my dad left when I was eight my mom mentally, physically, and emotionally abused me everday multiple times till I was eleven which is when I somehow got the strength to talk about it and moved into my dad's place. I now have depersonalization, post traumatic stress disorder, and maybe a chance of narcistic personality disorder.

What is the purpose of charity for foster kids?

Foster children typically become foster children because their parents abused or neglected them. Their childhood is frequently very unsettled. They are frequently moved and have very little stability in their lives. Organizations like Royal Family Kids Camps provide a week of camp for these kids. It can change lives. It is not uncommon for a foster child to have never had a birthday party, to be separated from their biological brothers and sister, and to lack many of the stabilizing influences of normal childhood. Statistically, foster children are more likely to end up unemployed, homeless or worse. Charity to benefit foster kids can change lives.
