I think the question is do you believe him. That same thing happened to me, but I called him and asked him how he felt about me and he said he still loved me and that he always would. You shouldn't feel bad that's for sure. Tell him how you feel. If you love him and miss him too, tell him. If you don't then be nice about it and tell him that you just don't have feelings for him, or you no longer have the love that you did for him. Just whatever you do don't feel bad!
