It's a fruit and it's not poisonous, so sure.

If you're talking about supplements rather than the fruit itself, I'm not aware of any studies that have been done on adolescents, so caution would be prudent. Gastrointestinal side effects have been seen, and one study found that it caused "testicular toxicity" (in rats), which doesn't sound like fun.
