There truly is no easy way to get over a man. The only real answer to this question is to let the heartbreak come, cry yourself it; in short, do whatever you need to do so that you know he's gone for good. As for things not to do, don't call him telling him you're sorry, he'll only use this as a chance to abuse you (as a male I know the sick twisted thoughts that dwell among my peers). Also don't act like the relationship didn't matter to you. Too many times i have seen people going around flaunting the "fact" that their recent break-up meant absolutely nothing to them. This only serves to hide the hurt underneath and will lead to self-destruction through one means or another. In short i suggest spending some time on yourself. Maybe go get your nails/hair done, go to a spa, do something relaxing. It may seem self-centered, but we all need a break sometimes. After that just talk it out with some close friends (don't hide anything! deceit doesn't solve anything). Finally just hang out with some friends, enjoy your time being single. I know that directly following a relationship being single can seem like the worst thing in the world but it holds a surprising number of opportunities. Go out with friends, go Bowling or go dance at a club, enjoy the fact that no one is going to get mad at you for being yourself. Be true to yourself and love yourself and everything will turn out alright.
