it depends on how you feel about your best friend. If you secretly like them back then you tell them the truth and how you feel but if you dont like them then i would tell them that you dont want it to be awkward but you dont like them that way and that you just want to remain as friends

You should talk with her about it, and if you seriously like him, and she's just flirting, you could try to politely ask her to back off a little. It also depends on who the guy likes, or if he likes either of you. I have a best friend who's a flirt, and always ends up flirting with the guys I like, so I'm used to that happening. It does hurt if he chooses her over you, but still talking to her before confronting the guy or her harshly, just talk it out with her and figure out how she feels too. Also, if he does like her, don't try to force him to like you. And don't force an answer out of him who he likes, this will make it akward for all three of you.
