What is a typical Nine year old boys behavior?

It depends on his personality, interests, environment, etc. No behavior should be considered "typical" - contrary to what the psych community wants to believe. Are you asking because you fear a 7 year old boy you are involved with is acting "abnormal" according to others' standards? If you want to make some positive changes, before you judge him and become concerned with what is typical, make sure he is active, eating healthfully, getting plenty of sleep, and has some structure in his life (things to look forward to each day- not rewards like candy but, activities or stories). Whatever you do, don't give him Ritalin. . .do your research first, it's VERY dangerous stuff.

Some 9 year olds act like little angels and do everything they are told when others laze around all day and dont do anything they are told. Some 9 year olds are in the middle and are an angel sometimes and a devil other times. So it depends what type of 9 year old it is.
