What makes a successful seventh grader?

I myself was, at a time, a 7th grader. I take it you are currently one? I was very successful in my 7th grade year (straight A). And I would love to give you some tips. 1) obviously do your work. The thing about doing work, is it's easy and simple and many people skip it because well its not that many points type of a thing. You might think it's only 10pts, but after doing that enough times it really adds up. Make teachers think youre smart, and look smart. You need to be clean and well groomed and they will generally assume, that you're a good kid (whether you really are or aren't is up to you :D) when teachers think you're smart, they will subconciously or maybe even consciously give you better scores and mark you off as complete. Dont answer a question unless you are absolutely sure it is correct. Not that There is anything wrong with getting it wrong, but sometimes they wonder and think about how to help you when you really don't necessarily need help. Be a goody good. At least, look like one around the teachers. Talk to the teacher as if you like them and completely like the way they teach. Help other kids in class when the teacher is watching :P and listen in class especially. I screwed around a lot, but still make sure you listen and are able to understand what's going on. One of the biggest things is math. There is one thing that you can do, that is relatively fast, easy, and simple yet most kids are unwilling to do. Read the book. Read the sections and chapters, and compare the problems you get in class with the example problems. There is many other things you can do, this is but a small list. I hope this helps!
