When you are in a relationship how do you know when to call it quits?

I'm not an expert but I have relationship experience. You know when to call it quits when you can't stand to be around that person any longer, you don't want that person to touch you, you think about someone else and the communication is no longer there.

AnswerThe big ones are substance abuse (alcohol or drugs), violence, child abuse and infidelity. Any of those problems should cause you to run.

Beyond that, if you've tried everything else that you can think of and the relationship has just died, maybe it's time to move on. If the relationship has resulted in children, you need to stay together unless there just isn't any other possibility. If you have doubts about leaving or if there are children, the two of you need to see a marriage counselor to see what can be done.

3. You don't converse with that person on the phone like you once did in the beginning.

6. He or She is always hanging out with their so called friends.

7. Their cell phone rings at the most unorthodox times of the day or night. And it definitely isn't you calling them.
