Craig Kielburger founded the Free The Children Foundation after reading about a 12 year old boy in India, Iqbal Masih, who was killed because he tried to speak out about his working conditions. Since this had such a huge effect on Craig, he created the foundation so that all children involved in child labour could have a voice, and so that awareness could be raised worldwide.
The Aastha Foundation website lists important information about the foundation, including but not limited to information about the leadership of the foundation and where the foundation is headquartered.

The Foundation also supports The Children's Bereavement Center and The Children's Center of San Antonio.
