So this is kind of a long story but I’ll try to break it down. Eliza wouldn’t leave Gerard alone even though he had a girlfriend during this time, but he found Eliza beautiful and that made him ignore her toxic ways. Gerard felt bad for having to leave his girlfriend and liking Eliza when they were already together. Eliza finally got her way to be with Gerard, she got him toxically and would not leave him alone before. She basically used her looks to get him with her. Gerard didn’t want her because what she did, he realized this after they got together and emailed her that they weren’t compatible.
