We're only human... No one wants to be the bottom friend, the one who stays home and plays Chess with their Dad (no offense to the chess players). We all have to feel in ourselves that we are better than the person beside us, even if the person is the last that you would want to hurt. We feel in ourselves that if we can be better than our friends they will always be our friends because we are better than them and they need us. THEY AREN"T THAT DESPERATE! Be nice to your friends, there the ones who are going to help you in later life. And if they are better than you in some way, congratulate them on their success and know that you are better at something else, just not ALL things. trust me, though not all people are out there wanting to be better than there friends, some are just generally nice people without all the other stuff in between.
