The divorce rate is so high in my opinion because either one or the other, (or both) have given up easily. It is far more easier to start over with someone else refreshing and new than to work thru conflict, baggage and issues with someone you are currently involved with and have so many negative emotions to deal with. Most people forget the best things in life come from those that are earned - with hard work and patience mixed with forgiveness. It is sad we dont allow ourselves to learn these valuable lessons of forgiveness, patience and earning respect and love. Are not those the most important lessons of life? Like college students who drop a hard class in favor of an easy one......losing the lessons we so need to learn.
