Why do girls seem to like doctors so much or is that just a myth?
I am not going to try to represent the female community as a whole, but in my opinion it all depends on what kind of doctor it is, and what the girls' experience with doctors is. If it is a female health doctor some girls may feel uncomfortable with the doctor examining their private parts and are likely to not like this doctor as much. If it is a OB/GYN doctor, because this doctor is helping them have a healthier baby, girls are more likely to like this doctor. A girls normal physician is generally liked after a certain period of time when the girl feels comfortable with her doctor. This is often the situation with all doctors, as a rule, the more you know them, the more you like them. However, some girls may feel they can confide more in their female health doctor and may like them more because of this. And some girls may not like a OB/GYN because they feel they can take care of their baby them self or they have a bad experience with one, such as having to go through an abortion or miscarriage. But even this can be different, as some girls are glad to have an abortion, or feel safe with their doctor because they gave them an abortion when their parents may not have approved or would have been mad at her. Generally, with specialists, patients either like them or hate them either because they make them feel uncomfortable, misunderstood, and visa versa. So, I cannot say if girls like doctors more or less than boys do. It may be that girls just don't complain as often, or they have different kinds of doctors than boys. It is all subjective. I would not advise quizzing a future girlfriend on the subject, as doctors can be a touchy subject, until later in the relationship. Girls may like psychiatrists more than boys because girls tend to like expressing their feelings more and are more sensitive generally. But not all girls are the same.
