It depends how the wedding is organized and if the bride wants them to travel with them they will but they definitely follow the bride down the aisle.
I would go for a lilac dress and a green hat to match the bridesmaid dresses. But check that matches the colour theme for the wedding
The bride gives the gifts to her maid of honor and bridesmaid (also flower girl if there is one) while getting dressed before going to the church and the groom gives a gift to his best man; ushers (also ring bearer if there is one) while they are getting dressed to go to the wedding at the church.
The opposite of a bridesmaid is a groomsman. It's pretty straightforward, like peanut butter and jelly - they go together but are totally different. So, if you're looking for a bridesmaid, you'll probably find a groomsman lurking around somewhere nearby.
When going to the church the mother and father of the bride along with the maid of honor; brides maids; flower girl can go in the limo, but after the wedding is over the bride and groom if going for pictures first should leave the church on their own and the parents from both sides of the family along with the wedding party should meet the bride and groom along with the photography at a designated area for wedding pictures.
The mother of the bride goes to the church rehearsal where the wedding party practices what they should do and say and then there is generally a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner after which all members of the wedding party (including the parents of the bride and groom.) There is no dress rehearsal for most brides or wedding party, but the bride and her brides maids would have to go into the wedding shop where the wedding dress and brides maids dresses were purchased to be sure no extra alterations have to be made on any of the dress and the mother may attend this if she asks the bride (which is generally not a problem.)
This is definitely an opinion question, but I am the wedding coordinator for my church. Generally, one leads off with the junior bridesmaid, then the "regular" bridesmaids, maid or matron of honor, the the ring-bearer and flower-girl just before the bride. This is not set in stone. For example, if the junior bridesmaid is the big sister of younger attendants, then put her after the other bridesmaids (but before the maid/matron of honor) so she can help keep them calm and focused. If your bridesmaids are walking in with escorts, the junior bridesmaid can go before or after if she's paired up with someone. If she's not paired up, then I'd put her first.

Traditionally no. The bride and groom enter as Mr. & Mrs. followed by the wedding party and the parents can follow behind or go ahead and mingle with the guests before the bride and groom enter the wedding reception.
The maid of honor's job is to be the bride's best friend. As her closest friend, you should continue doing all the things that a best friend has always done. Be there for her when she needs you, listen if she has problems, help her if you can, get excited with her over what is going on in her life, etc. Typically, a MOH chooses to throw a shower or bachelorette party, and she will typically choose to help the bride with a few wedding tasks. While not required duties, these are nice things that you should do for your best friend if you can. You will probably also need to sign the marriage license, and you can give a toast or a speech at the reception if you want to.
The groom should buy the engagement and wedding ring for his bride to be and the bride to be should buy the groom's wedding band.
At a wedding reception, songs traditionally go in a specific order. They are first dance for bride and groom then mother and groom or father and bride.
Joke: Why did the cannibal go to the wedding?Punchline: The cannibal went to the wedding to toast the bride and roast the groom (cos he's bigger). The joke plays on the words toast and roast as they relate to food.
