How are the chapters in beautiful creature divided?

Sometimes there are numbers on top separated by a period and I am 99.9999999% sure that they stand for the date. An example would be 2.11 meaning the day that chapter takes place is February 11. Also, the chapters have names or titles or whatever you would like to call it :)

Surprisingly, they are not in the table of contents.
