Annabeth, Grover, and Percy enter the Underworld by crossing the River Styx. They use the Golden Drachma given to Percy by Rachel Dare to pay Charon, the ferryman, for safe passage across the river.
Percy, Annabeth and Grover journey deeper into the Underworld where they see more and more of the dead. Grover's flying shoes almost drag him into Tartarus, until he takes them off. They eventually meet Hades, who they ask to return the master bolt which suddenly appeared in Percy's backpack. It turns out that Hades had never taken the master bolt and his helm of darkness was stolen too. It is finally proven that Sally is also alive but but now is being held hostage by Hades for his helm of darkness. When Percy, Annabeth and Grover try to escape with the pearls, they figure out that you need one for a person. Annabeth and Grover offer to stay in the Underworld to save Percy's mom but Percy refuses. The chapter ends with Percy having an idea about who really stole the master bolt and Percy, Annabeth and Grover using the pearls because the dead are hot on their heels.we find out the truth, sort of is when they enter the underworld. to find out more... read the book! ;)

It is about the aftermath of Percy fighting Ares and his return home.Significant events:Percy becoming innocent to the press and all the blame being tossed on Ares.The press passing around a hat to raise money for three tickets to New York.Percy returning home to New YorkGabe telling Percy that he's going to call the police and trying to send him away.Percy giving his mother Medusa's head so that she can turn Gabe into stone when he hit her again.This chapter is just to sum the story up before it leads to an interesting cliff-hanger in the next chapter. It is also used for Percy to be able to see his mother and get rid of Gabe.
Well Percy obviously gets older,maturer and he also shows more and more feelings for Annabeth. He finds out his feeling are more then friendly in book:3 when he has a discussion with Aphorodite, Goddess of Love.
Hades kept her alive, and she was held prisoner. The living are allowed to enter the Underworld and still be alive when they (rarely) return to the living world.
According to Annabeth, she last saw him enter his cabin at Camp Half-Blood, so we can only assume he was there when he disappeared.
Well in the first off in the first book he discovers that he is the son of Poseidon. He also finds out the Zeus's lightning bolt was stolen. So Percy, Annabeth and his best friend Grover have to retrieve it before the winter solstice. BY THE BIGGEST LIGHTNING THIEF FAN IN THE UNIVERSE!!!
The lady at the evil guys castle helps Percy shock the guy with the lightening bolt that the evil guy saw in his sheild! He has 3 pearls for him his cousn and his mom so grover stays ther with the evil guys mistress!
There really wasn't a password. It was based on the amount of drachmas (gold coins from ancient Greece) they gave the ferryman.
Percy, Annabeth, and Grover get to the Underworld by Charon's ferry. They get past Cerberus because Annabeth starts playing with him with a red rubber ball.
He learned how to enter and exit the underworld unharmed by being initiated in the Eleusinian mysteries.
Without him, the dead could not enter the Underworld.
