How does Lennie kill his puppy?

I not read that book i so long but if your talking about of mice and men i dont even know if i have the title right but he kills is by accident he is so strong and mentally handicaped that he does not relizes his own strenght. i think frmo holding the puppy to hard he like strangled it i think if we are talking about the same book i think im correct but you can double check me i read it over 13 years ago in like 6th grade i think hope i helped
