In the popular usage a dream book is a sort of reference book, arranged alphabetically ( like a dictionary or similar) and giving interpretations of various forms of dreams. They are sold in the occult sections of book shops. Zolar"s ( big Occult publisher don"t know if they are still around)- was a popular one. Unlike Astrology and say, Ouija boards, the field of interpretation of dreams has a modest scientific background, some would say even major ( look at Dr. Freud). Wish your heart makes or no, dreambooks are certainly on the benign end of the occult and had a long-standing following public. Zolar"s is one of the more popular syndicated ones.
