NO!
what really happens is that Richard opens the box of orden. he knows which one is right because the sword of truth turns white for the right one. the book of countered shadows is actually a diversion so that the wrong people don't open the boxes. then Richard sends everyone that has no magic (the pristinly ungifted) or hates it to a different world. that way everyone can live in peace. also the strile field is not contaminated for Kahlan because she already falls in love with Richard all over again. then they live happily ever after. The world that Richard made for the ungifted turns out to be our world, but that is in terry goodkind's newest book, the law of the nines.
