Mrs. Henry Lafayette Dubose's house and the Radley Place
Scout was reminiscing about how Jem hurt himself. He was nearly 13 when he was hurt. Scout then explains how it lead to that, then creating the story. The book was not based on this, but this is what this beautiful story ends in. So the maximum age could be about 13. Scout is then at most 11 years old since she is four years younger than Jeremy.
In the beginning of the book which is in the 1930's during the great depression, Jem is 6 years old and Scout is 10. However, as the book progresses towards the end, i believe that Jem is 16 and scout is 20.

Ah, in Chapter 7 of "To Kill a Mockingbird," Jem is around 12 years old, and Scout is about 8 years old. They are both growing and learning so much about the world around them, just like the beautiful trees and flowers we see blooming in nature. It's a special time in their lives, full of new experiences and discoveries.
Atticus shoots and kills a rabid dog in chapter 10 with one shot, displaying his expert marksmanship skills. Jem and Scout are shocked because they never knew their father was capable of such a sharp and precise act of bravery. They realize that Atticus is more than just a quiet and unassuming figure in their lives.
In Chapter 10, Jem and Scout view their father, Atticus, with a mix of respect, admiration, and curiosity. They appreciate his strong shooting skills but are also puzzled by his lack of boasting about it, leading them to question his humility and modesty. They are eager to learn more about Atticus's past and capabilities as they witness a different side to him during this chapter.
jem scout and dill all go up to the radleys door to seeif they can see boo(arther) radley. as they were looking in the window they saw a shadow and they all ran in the collard patch. jem lost his pants from climbing under the fence and had to go back to the radletys yard to get his pants back. he tells scout to count to 10 and he will be right back before he gets back. as scout was counting she heard a gunshot and thought that mr radley had shot jem.
When the novel begins, Dill is almost seven years old. Towards the end of the novel, Dill is probably around 10 or 11 years old.
the humidity is 10 during summertime :0 :) :D
Scout didn't like the fact that Atticus was old because he says " Our father didn't do anything" (chapter 10) and Scout feels like his father can't do anything useful but it is then shown later in the book that Atticus has the best shot in maycomb and Scout and Jem are quite shocked.
Jem and Scout are often embarrassed by their father's advanced age and bookish nature. However in chapter ten, Atticus Finch shoots a rabid dog and they learn that he was once known as the best shot in the county.
The mockingbird is mentioned in several chapters throughout "To Kill a Mockingbird," but one of the most significant mentions is in Chapter 10 when Atticus tells Scout and Jem that it's a sin to kill a mockingbird because they don't harm anyone and only bring joy with their songs. This metaphor is woven throughout the novel to symbolize innocence and goodness.
